When Cesc went to Barcelona, Barcelona didn't need him. He sometimes played as an attacker.

He should as he says waited longer. IMO much longer. He should have had replaced Xavi after Xavi quit. That would have given him a totally different respect and responsibilities. He would've been viewed different from the fans.
Instead he was the 5:th Ferrari in a different color.

I think he underrated himself. I can definitely say that Cesc was up there along with Xavi and Iniesta. The only downside was he moved back to Barca where literally all the midfielders were at his level. Had he stay, he would've shined more in Arsenal although he wouldn't win the trophies he got with Barca. But back at the time, not all players in it just for money and/or trophy
