The Fortnite Streamer Everyone Forgot About

This is a video detailing the career of fortnite professional player, streamer and youtuber, Sceptic. Sceptic had a rise to fame after going viral when outplaying Tfue in a build battle. From there he would go on to huge success, notably appearing on mainstream news channels, gaining over 1 million subscribers, amassing a huge following on twitch, joining esports organisations, and perhaps most notably, competing at the fortnite world cup in 2019 alongside Clix. Sceptic has recently appeared to take a step back from the internet so I thought it would be a good place to start on this new channel, outlining the progression of his career, which I found very interesting. Fortnite battle royale has faded from the limelight of social media, as has a large amount of content creators who focused their channel around the game.

Man I really feel bad for him. I actually went to the Fortnite world cup in 2019 and took a pic with him before the games started and also sat in the row right behind his family and gave me stickers of his logo which was so cool. At the same time Im kinda proud of him for becoming financially successful and just doing what makes him happy.

im actually happy for him staying away from social media and living his life outside, that's way healthier than playing games all day. he's also not greedy he even said that money doesnt make him happy, for a kid to say that just shows he's matured.

i dont even play fortnite but i find this really interesting. I just really think that being famous at a young age without proper guidance is a dangerous thing. I hope he learns a lot a manage to get back.

Wow, it's crazy to see how quickly things can change in the world of streaming. I remember when this Fortnite streamer was all the rage, but it just goes to show how fickle the internet can be. It's important to remember that behind every streamer is a real person, and we should support and uplift them even when they're not at the top of the charts. There's a lot of pressure to stay popular on all the media platforms once you get there, not to mention all the work that goes on behind the scenes. Skeptik's life got changed in an instant and he rode that wave for a while. Good on him. And Clix. I'd never heard of either player before today when your video randomly appeared in my suggestions. Glad it did. It was very interesting. Perhaps, like you say, his interests have changed now that he's 18. Constant uploads and being in the public eye can suck the happiness right out of you. He hinted at it when he mentioned the words "Money gives you freedom, not happiness". Now that he has that freedom, I hope he's happy in the next chapter of his life. Wherever that takes him. What an amazing journey it's been for him so far. I congratulate him for all he's done. No hate from me. 🤟

Followed this kid on twitch years ago when he only had 400 or so followers. His fame may have been pretty short lived but it’s crazy to see how big he got in such a short amount of time

I feel kinda bad for Skeptic he was just a kid in the start of his career and people seemed to forget that and expected Ninja level content from him and when he provided that he got shidded on oof. Although his NFT arc was completely unexpected, so humiliating to see that happen to any cc. The fate of fortnite youtubers is a constant struggle of relevancy it seems :(

Also for this being your first video all 2 months of your effort working on this really paid off! So well made I thought you already had dozens of videos and experience on your channel. I was really impressed by your script!! Can't wait to see what other content you put out.
