I don’t think people realise that not all acrylics are used the same way. Anacrylics is supposed moulded not dragged. I use anacrylics a lot and if u use it correctly it’s literally heaven I have been obsessed w it.

These are cute! I love Anacrylics. I am a beginner and started with gel. After watching her I ordered and quickly switched to acrylics. For me, they worked exactly like they do in her videos. Again, I am a beginner and they are amazing.

Try again after watching Ana's response short! The formula is very different on purpose and I am giving her much benefit of the doubt after watching her explain the best way to apply it. I feel like it's great to start getting more variety in formula types because every nail tech has their own preferences.
For example, even as a beginner, I do not like to drag acrylic beads at all except to smooth it all over as it is curing. I really like the pat-molding method to spread the product out and shape it. I feel like this gives me a lot more control of the product even when I use a bigger bead.
I may be biased because I do really want to try Ana's products myself. I wouldn't be surprised if the product performs differently when using a different method. I really would love to see a new video retrying these powders, even though I still appreciate this one!

OMG!!! I didn’t know you were in NC!!! I live in NC and I’m absolutely shocked that one of my FAVORITE nail professionals is so close!!! I absolutely LOVE ALL of your videos and have learned much from you!! Thank you Anastasia and keep up the great work!! Love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I like it because it’s really slow setting. The clear is at least. I used to do gel but moved to acrylic and I’m still learning a lot and it really helps with shaping the nail etc. Plus the clear is super clear. I don’t know if I would buy her colors but definitely the clear I recommend!

Would like to remind people that Anastasia is a nail educator and has been a nail tech for at least 18 years. She is a professional and the founder of a nail school and has been in many magazines for her work. She is giving an extremely kind review. Nail techs do not have to do a one bead method. Many use the 2-4 bead method. Also, the one bead method Anacrylics uses is an advanced method that is not suitable for beginners. I see her growth but she is certainly not a nail professional. You should not build or form or mold a nail with colored acrylic. It should be capped in clear because pigmented powder does not have strength. Whether you love it or hate it, please know the facts.

I’m so glad I didn’t fall into too much of the hype, I only ordered two and didn’t like them whatsoever, they are definitely not beginner friendly as they make it so hard to work with, so I’m sticking to YN and Not Polish which both are so easy to work with

I am not confident enough to try acrylics often. But I do love her colors and watching her apply it is amazing. Watching you apply ANY nail product is super comforting to me! 😍

A little ironic that *cover* pink is slightly transparent lol

Even for beginners, that acrylic looks really hard to work with🤔 when you brush over it, it almost looks like you’re brushing the product away. Seems like application would take FOREVER

This brand acrylic looks grainy. I would have to grind the acrylic powder to a finer consistency before using the monomer.

I personally did not like it. I wasted over $200 due to the hype, and the claims of it being beginner/advanced friendly. I now don't think that it's either of those. Also expensive for only 1oz, you can buy from Not Polish and get 2oz for $14

LOVE the "Cute Halloween" design - I think I'm going to try this one out because I like Halloween nails, but also super girly colours!

Omg I love this set! Thank you for the review. I have seen others review it but sometimes ppl sugar coat the truth because they don’t want to put down a product and I get it. But as a beginner DIYer I need the truth! Such a pleasure watching your talent! Till next time.

So glad someone didn't buy into the hype. Her acrylics are so slow setting and her demo videos never show her actually BUILDING a nail, just putting a layer of product on a tip.

I enjoy some of her products but wish I didn’t rush into buying so many at one time. Her products are more runny than any other product I have ever tried. I’ve found it nearly impossible to use on clients unless using as a dip powder. Just my experience but I tried emailing customer service about my issues a couple of times and have never gotten a reply back. Which is very frustrating considering the hype of her products. My advice would be to buy less first and try it for yourself then expand.

I’m not gunna lie….I’m kind of *OBSESSED* with this “cute” pastel Halloween design!! I would’ve never thought to put those things together—but it WORKS SO WELL!! Thank you for showing this design!😱💖

I’ve been a nail technician for 2 years now (licensed for a year and a half), and I bought the Anacrylics Halloween 2021 collection last year, the glow in the dark one. I thought it was gonna be good, but I don’t really like them. Their texture is weird for me (but I’m sure I’m just used to how fast regular acrylic dries) but that collection also sticks to the brush for me. I also don’t like the way it files either. It seems super hard and there’s not a whole bunch of dust. They’re also not super pigmented either, so when I did an ombré with one of them, I would have to do multiple thin layers until it wasn’t see through. It also drives me crazy that they don’t dry faster. The colors also separate with them too. I thought that the color separation was normal for glow in the dark pigments, but now I’m seeing that it’s not supposed to be normal for any type of powders.

Honestly, I think it might be fine for beginners who just need to work with what they have when they’re in school and such (affordable and slow-setting), although they might need to start using higher quality powders and monomers once they get the hang of it. As someone who’s been using acrylic constantly for the last 2 years, I don’t think the Anacrylics brand is very good.

Thank you for testing this for us, honestly... I don’t like the look of it. It looks grainy (certainly not buttery) clogs the brush and looks pretty hard to place the bead without half of it being in the brush. I’ll give this brand a miss. Tysmfs

Ive noticed with anacrylics products i need to almost "mold" instead if build if that makes sense... Its more if a polygel consistency only its an acrylic lol but with polygel you mold it to the shape you want acrylic you more less "layer" the product to build an apex... I hope im wording this correctly
