1. They are going to be so flimsy. Your nails are going to be bending everytime you grab something.

2. You can see where the fake nail ends and where your natural nail begins. The polish settles into the ledge between your nail and the tip.

If anyone plans on doing this, please note that they will be extremely thin and not have any support whatsoever. You can use the Dollar Tree items but keep in mind to use dip powder or acrylic overtop the tips. This will give you those nice thick nails, and will last like any other manicure. If you use this by itself, they have a chance of falling off the day you wear them and cause a lot of damage to your nails from that. Just thought to put that out there :)

I'd rather spend 20$ when Modelones go on sale at Amazon to get a full polygel kit to do this then 5$ at cheap polish personally. Or go to CVS and get the $10 acrylic kit so they won't be flimsy
