I’m actually glad someone else noticed the whole “who was actually jumping discovery at the end” lol

Zora had emotions. So, how did being alone for a 1000 years not drive her absolutely insane?

THANK YOU!!!! I thought I was the only one who noticed there was no one to do the final jump!

The amusing part is that Clark wearing Glasses was for more effective that expected :P

I've been playing with maths and aspects of theoretical physics for over 25 years, and I have never been able to visualise higher dimensions until I watched Discovery for the 2nd time.

Burnham's son jumped ship as he was 1/2 Kwejian and possibly an empath too.

Calypso mini episode now being the last time we see Discovery is indicating that once again, the Federation has regressed to a myth like it did because of the burn.

Good video! I like the separate floating parts look. As a teenager, I was a fan of the Recognizers' design in Tron and used to do my initials in that style.

One of the concepts for Discovery A had the saucer+neck separated so I wonder if the separated spore jump is a kind of reference to that

The turboshafts in my opinion are basically a spectral view of the ship's interior

The who jumped the ship at the end! Staments totally needed to be there also!

Sonequa Martin-Green does not have dreadlocks. She has braids, and it was a wig. If we are going to differentiate between cloaking devices we are going to a Black woman’s hairstyle right.

I find it odd that they gave it an A designation after a refit. The Enterprise was nearly a completely new ship, and they didn't give it an A designation until the Enterprise was destroyed and a similar ship was rechristened. Also, it didn't make since that a ship from a thousand years ago was deemed to be the most advanced ship and pretty much became the flag ship of the Federation. They wouldn't have refit the Discovery. Instead, they would have put it in a museum as an ancient artifact. I honestly don't care that it had the spore drive which oddly was the most advanced tech. Actually, I would have thought they would have been hopping galaxies rather than having what basically is gimmicky tech. I'm not saying that programmable matter wouldn't exist, but it's not terribly important to exploration like warp drive is. At any rate, pretty much the entirety of Discovery wouldn't be salvageable at that point. Just build them a brand new ship. A quote from Spock sums it up: "I am endeavoring, ma'am, to construct a mnemonic memory circuit using stone knives and bearskins." Yup.

To be honest im really upset this series is over. I enjoyed it and their was much left on the table. Im an old star trek fan and the thought of having this show, plus Picard and Strange new worlds going on consecutively was a dream.

As a side note about the STO stuff, the Battle Cloak just means it can fire while cloaked rather than needing to decloak before attacking

my god all these concepts are so much better than what we got

I chose to believe that Star Fleet wouldn’t have decommissioned the Discovery A if they couldn’t make more spore drives
