BF4: New Game Mode & Night Maps Coming? Battlefield 4

Today we learn that Battlefield 4 might be getting night maps and Dice is working on a new game mode ranked matches. Enjoy!

Night maps should be almost completely dark. IRNVs flares and flashlights should be a must.

My dream Gamemode:

A constant switch between Deathmatch, Defuse and Domination.
Basicly, in the beginning of a round, there is Defuse. Once that is done, intead of having a next round, there is Domination. Then TDM. Just having differnt task during a match keeping it fast past and entertaining. Even if your team sucks, as long as they PTFO, you can win. And other way around

does anyone remember the night map in CoD WaW? where they had both versions of the map, both night and day, i think DICE in a future title should have make weather and time of day dynamic, make it rain or snow randomly, dont make it predictable like paracel storm, but ever server so random with weather and time of day

What if on these competitive modes everything is limited? 1 Med bag, place it once and no more, same with ammo bag, and attachments don't replenish from ammo bags, as everything would in normal game mode. That's how you would balance out Medic class in such competitive game mode. I think.

I dont know the damage a m320 does to jeeps but having 1 or 2 jeeps would be perfect
You have assault to heal
Engineer to kill the jeeps
Support for ammo ( if they would actually give it)
And recon to assasinate the gunner of the jeep and do long range shots
I think a tank will ruin the competitivity of the game
The whole game will balance on that tank

Hooah for a good ranking/matchmaking system that actually puts people with similar abilities in the same bracket! Sure it could probably be exploited, but it could also be great gift to the vast majority of players. Having closely matched teams is one key factor I've been missing on many BF4 servers even if the player count is the same.

what about this: before the begginning of the game, each team can ban 2 weapons for each class and 1 gadget for each class. then they can choose 1 of the following: 1 mbt, 3 transport vehicles (jeeps, quad bikes, ...), a little bird, or a stealth jet (they can choose a different one after the previous one got destroyed). to balance things out: every vehicle takes 2x the amount of time to recharge a bullet and can store 1/2 of the normal amount. also medics/supports can place max. 3 bags per life.

I love how dice is experimenting with new ideas and going above and beyond what is expected, really. Sure the game had a rough start and that's fixed for the most part, but they're really taking it one step further and that's amazing.

Matimi0, When you were talking about the 8 vs. 8 and saying tank vs. no tank, it really reminded me of the way things are structured in the halo games. Personally, I would enjoy the challenge of going up against a really good tank driver.

I think that night maps would be a wonderful addition to the maps we currently have. Maybe one located in a city where the levolution event is an emp that is set off like the levolution for zavod or caspian border

they should add an nvg unlock tree.  First you would get the basic 2 lens, then later on you can unlock the gpnvg which is the quad lens for bigger field of view at night

On Infantry based gameplay, the support is also very good. It has virtually unlimited ammo, The AWS is enough for everything and you have C4.

To have a skill based match making system they need to have a better way of measuring skill because the current system makes no sense and is just ridiculous.
