Hey everyone, there seems to be a few people commenting here that have been having difficulty with this adapter and Apple's AirPods specifically. It's a small sample size and there seems to be plenty of people on Amazon who have used the AirPods with the adapter and had no issues, but either way, I wanted to pin this comment as a disclaimer just in case. I only tested this adapter with my Bose Soundlink on-ear headphones and a friend's Bose Soundlink Revolve home speaker that features Apt-X codec.

The only issue I expereinced was very slight lag with my headphones since they support the older SBC codec. For those having issues specifically related to Nintendo Switch games that support in-game voice chat, I do have to press the call/mic button on my headphones for the voice chat to work. Otherwise, I just get audio. For voice chat to work with this adapter, your headset needs to support an HSP(headset ) or HFP(hands-free) profile. I am almost certain that AirPods support those profiles, but if your headphones don't, you'll be out of luck for voice-chat functionality. When I take a call on my phone while using my headphones, the mic automatically turns on, but when paired with this adapter on the Switch for Fortnite or Killer Queen Black, I have to manually engage it if that makes sense. Awesome delivery Neil! I still haven’t made the jump to a Bluetooth but I need too. It’s so annoying switching from my phones AirPods to putting those away and using old wired ones on the train all the time.

When you update those cans take a look at the Sony WH-1000XM3s. They are sublime and I've run them at work, on the airplane, shipboard, and in my carpool. The audio quality is top notch, they use the newer codec, and they support Hi-Res audio playback if you're a crazy person like me that's willing to have a dedicated audio player in addition to his other devices. They sound great with the Switch when I plug them in, so I'd imagine with BT it'd be the same, just a bit more convenient. Congrats on getting going with the channel, man.

I just bought this a couple weeks ago and I use my AirPods, but when I use the microphone feature there is a loud noticeable static noise. Can you please help?

I just paired this to my Bose QC 35ii and there’s no sound . Worse : when docked, the tv won’t recognize the console anymore . Do I need to do anything or just return this adapter ? Thanks !

Hi i purchased rayvol adapter to connect to switch and whole playing fortnite unable to use mic in game but mic works during phone calls. I have mpow wireless headphones. Is there something specific that has to be done to use mic while playing fortnite?
