Loved these old shows. Just yesterday I was talking to an old friend about Amos 'N' Andy and the Kingfish and now I get to watch it. My dad used to like this show and others like it. He would laugh and laugh and I would laugh along with him . Good clean entertainment.

This show is no different than The Honeymooner's, The Flintstones or The Three Stooges. I love looking at Amos and Andy episodes ♥️

Hilarious black sitcom from yesteryear. The actors were fantastic and the portrayal of blacks in America at that time was respectful and funny!

I often heard this was one of the funniest shows ever and the first to have African American actors as the characters and to use multi cameras, the shot of king fish walking down the street after working all day was genius

Thank you for letting the public watch this wonderful episode. It's hard not to laugh out loud at all the silliness. One joke really blew my mind. At 9:14-9:20, Andy said he spent two terms in the second grade. Wilson's and Coolidge's. I said out loud, 'wait a minute, Andy, don't you mean three terms?!? You forgot Harding!!!' 🤣🤣🤣

Ernestine Wade as Sapphire in this TV series was such a delight.
The most amusing scenes of her was when she'd turn from being jovial to hostile in a heartbeat, and do it convincingly. That took exceptional acting talent.

The self righteous critics of this show thought that they were serving the cause of anti-racism when they forced it off the air, when in fact, they were denying these struggling actors from making a living!

ANDY: "I spent two terms in the second grade. Yeah, Wilson's and Coolidge's." That is absolutely brilliant comedy! Many other sitcoms were and are humorous. Amos N' Andy was hilarious.
