Impatient driver brake checks a police car, instantly regrets it

Highway 2 southbound approaching Balzac, Alberta. Driver of Ford Escape gets impatient and passes an unmarked police car, brake checks it and gets lit up.

One thing i never do is pass a Ford Explorer or a dodge charger at night on the highway if i cant identify if its police or not. Not worth the ticket

I drive a commercial truck for a living. On 2 occasions an officer witnessed a driver do something illegal and stupid in front of me. It's very satisfying to see those blue lights come on and those idiots get pulled over.

if someone was truly in a hurry, they would never brake check anyone. Simply shows they weren't in a hurry after all

One night driving home after midnight, this vehicle was tailgating me. I was on the passing lane, but I was coming up to get off the freeway to the left, which required me to stay on the passing lane. I was tempted to slam my brakes because he was too close to me, then the vehicle behind him was a cop as he turned on his lights to pull the tailgator over. 😁

Fun fact: You can actually be arrested for brake checking in many states. It is a form of reckless driving.

I think police officers should be in minivans, they would catch 100x more people that way...as long as the car doesnt decide to speed off.
