Hi guys. If some holders seem too long to you, you are right. It's that I'm very lazy and I don't want to set shorter holders.😀

I worked at a pattern shop for about 5 years. Runtime on some of those jobs we did would be 72 hours sometimes.

I still love to watch CNC machining videos, but I am glad I got out of the business. Customers were demanding NET 30 or greater. Metal that is supposed to be stable warping several ops into the job. Quoted for 20 hours of work and took 35 hours (working for free now). The customer gave you the job because you ended up being the cheapest shop. The list goes on.

One of these days Ill get a CNC again and just make stuff for fun and leave the mortgage payment out of it.

Seeing the final products come out of the molds would be a nice finish to the video

when programming, how you define all these high feed end mills? As a bullnose end mill? What stepover you usually use 50% 65% 80% of the cutter diameter ? What about plunging, you prefer to ramp down or just a simple plunge into the material? Thanks

Hi recently watched a lot for your videos, and they are satisfying. thinking of buying a used double column machine but it's my first VMC. Is machine from 2005 too old i your opinion. I don't have any experienced person to consult. Plz give me some advice.

Amazing work guys....congratulations
I have a question....Why do you temper the pieces instead of nitriding them?

Круто!
Сколько времени станок обрабатывал деталь?

Good video, congratulation. One question, how much thickness do you normally leave from the heat treatment to the final finish? And how much thickness do you leave for finishing with a ball tool?

Maravilha! Após desbaste houve tratamento de normalização do material?

Hi. Cool work.

You don't use coolant for your milling heads because you are filming or you work this way?
Would you say using milling heads for roughing is cheaper than say trochoidal with solid end mills? You can definitely reach longer wth your tools though.

Vc and Fz would be nice to know too, but I'll take what you show too :). All the best! Subscribed
