You are a very clever guy. I wish you could post the masks someplace or create macros and share. Many of your videos have so much information, great information, perhaps also post a cheat sheet of the steps you do, since it is painful to rewatch the videos to capture all the steps. Hopefully you posted the "bug" on the affinity forum as a bug report :)

I know you've done this a long time ago (2021) but I'm having real difficulty following the sections 'merge to curves' and 'moving vertical and horizontal lines to duplicated images' ~ the main reason for this is perhaps that the layers are not named & I therefore have to guess, which layer is that you're moving or talking about. Sadly, after several attempts over a week, I've been unable to complete the 'Weave Effect' It's a great effect and I'm sure I've not been the only one to struggle completing this.
So-oooh…… here comes the ASK… and YES, it's a BIG ASK! ~ Could you to do it again? with the tiny flaws ironed out and the all the layers named. ~ Thank you so much if you can.

In the horizontal strokes you can see thin vertical lines. For example at 9:10. I have seen this before. What is the reason for this?
