An encounter in Jammu and Kashmir continues, with one jawan killed and three injured. The injured jawans have been airlifted to Udhampur. The region continues to be targeted by terrorists. The operation, which has been ongoing for 24 to 36 hours, was initiated after two village defence committee members were abducted and killed by Jaish-e-Mohammed. The army has lost one subedar, Rakesh Kumar, and three other jawans are injured.
