Jawan Killed in the Kupwara Encounter, Terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir

One jawan has been killed and one major and three jawans have been injured in an encounter in Kupwara. The Indian Army neutralised a terrorist following an infiltration attempt by the Pakistani Army. This incident comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a firm stand on terrorism. The encounter occurred near the Gulab Post in the Masil sector. The identity of the neutralised terrorist is being confirmed.
