I thought I was bad!!! Great collection of Great tools. I use my Makita tools every day, I also use Milwaukee. Side by side, Makita just makes a better product for what I do...

The impact driver sized blower (I call it a blow gun) is also available in LXT in fact I think they released at the same time a few months ago when this video was posted and its a good tool for dust cleaning electronics if you get the flex hose attachment which is not included in the USA or UK (where I am from) models but every possible available attachments come out of box for the Japanese release models of the LXT and XGT blow guns. If I am not mistaken there are 3 attachments missing from the UK and USA models which can be bought separately online one of which is the flex pipe. It's good for dusting out computers etc... (be sure to hold the fan blades inside computer fans when blowing out those since it will make them spin when blowing them and they will start to spin faster than their rated speeds and they start generating their own currents as they spin and they will be spinning faster than what they are rated for which a normal power source for the fan inside the PC will usually not exceed)

Cordless tools are like Tribbles.

Makita was never my primary and I'd avoided another battery system (Already having Festool, Metabo, Dewalt, Senco etc and Stihl for garden). Makita make a really nice nibbler in LXT and that was the tipping point. That was ~4 years and 20+ Makita tools ago! XGT is worth the investment for higher power tools. I sometimes toy with the idea of dropping a brand to reduce battery proliferation but sadly every brand has something unique to offer. In fact we have Ryobi in the house for cordless scrubbers and there's the odd Milwaukee and Bosch floating about.

I don't stress on corded or air tool brand proliferation as I'll just aim for the best for the job.

I like Makita's new big XGT circular saws as they can run on my Festool plunge saw tracks (and Makita tracks are 100% compatible with Festool and a third of the price). The little LXT trimmers are brilliant and I'm now guilty of simply buying more of them to avoid swapping out router bits that are set up "just right". The 12" XGT SCMS is a beast. I also find myself a bit lazy when it comes to swapping angle grinder discs and the XGT 5" angle grinders are really nice so they too have multiplied in numbers. The XGT 1/2" collet cordless router is in my sights.

The new Makita framing nailer hasn't made it to Oz yet and I don't like the "wind up" on my mechanical cordless Dewalt. I'm also curious about the Makita cordless compressor as the Dewalt one could wake the dead. I'm amazed nobody (that I know of) has made a cordless backpack compressor!

Something I really like in back pack format are the Makita LXT sprayers. Technically the Milwaukee switch tank units are clever but the units end up being heavier so I chose Makita. I have one dedicated to poisons and one for nutrients to avoid accidental cross contamination.

When my Dewalt inflator died I replaced it with a Makita XGT. It's much better built than the Dewalt but the ergonomics and usability of the Dewalt were superior .. just poor on quality like so many Dewalt tools (if it doesn't say XR don't buy it .. but that still isn't a certainly of quality)

One Makita that I've developed love and hate feelings for is the 29 litre chiller (the mid size in their range). It's great on the property away from the main buildings to keep a few drinks, etc cold and more versatile than our 12V/mains portable fridges. So what's the down side? .. my better half often snags it to take shopping and instead of buying chilled and frozen goods and heading home she now pops them in the chiller and stays out shopping longer :(

Funny story I became a makitia fan a few years ago when I bought a makitia mm4 hand blower. The quality of that machine is amazing. Starts on 1st pull EVERY time.

Bought a 18v zawsall and that was its.. all my tools are makitia lol.

Finally a channel that isn’t bashing Makita.
Honestly over watching all these whinny “professional” YouTubers talking circles about which brand makes the fastest drills, impact driver etc.
I’m not on a jobsite to drill screws in 2 sec faster than another brand.
I’ve personally been running Makita for the last 6+ years and metabo the last 2 years and never ran into major problems with them other than making foolish decision mixing mud with a drill etc lol
Built houses, condo complex, businesses etc with no problems. This new generation of a tool community is to full of drama queens with my brand is better than yours.
Like you said, each brand has there own specific tool that’s better. Milwaukee, Dewalt Makita and metabo all make great tools. Ryobi and ridgid fall under the same category tools in my opinion and wouldn’t waste my time. As for Makita making a horrible drill? I’m guessing you’re referring to the chuck issue on the xph14 hammer drill? Anyways, you earned my sub🤙🏻

My first 18 volt cordless tools in this order was, Craftsman, then Portable Cable, then finally Makita 18 volt LXT. I have a few Milwaukee bits and blades, along with Dewalts.

I looked at Akitas 270 tool tool line ups, I was shocked to see an 18 volt coffee maker..thats impressive considering a coffee maker utilizes a lot of Watts.

I have all the same tools you have, except I don’t have the yard tools, but I do have the corded tools that you don’t show here

I hope you get and review the 40v xgt Makita drill. That seems the most unique Makita drill I have seen.

I live in North Central Florida and is very hard to find Makita tools in the stores, except Home Depot, nobody really has anything significant, definitely no OPE. I’ll try Tractor Supply.
