A few years ago I was delivering to one of the horse farms on my route, and the lady at the farm had a new Cattle Dog. All the other dogs knew me but this one was barking at me. The lady came out, told me to shake her hand and then she turned to the dog and said "See? Friend.". After that, the dog was perfectly fine with me being there every week. It even joined in with the other dogs (different breeds) who wanted me to throw their tennis balls for them to fetch, or get some pieces of carrot that I'd usually take out of the bag for the horses that were in their stalls near the feed room.

The Doberman I got from a breeder in Paso Robles 1993 was just like your Prince. All of the Doberman I have gotten since have been rescues. I very much appreciate your Prince and his character: a very rare and special thing in your guy!

Prince is exactly the dog that my dog-reactive lab/pitbull needs. I try to do the higher level correction, but I know a dog needs to do it at this point! My dog is like this cattle dog is with the audacity to go after another dog for no reason! I love how Prince did just enough and didn't go too far! My biggest fear with letting another dog correct mine is that they won't stop and will actually hurt my dog!

You knock it out of the park Joel. I have been waiting for you to feature a cattle dog like this. I had a case a year back with a dog like this and found it impossible to get through to her and really knew that I needed a prince to correct her as she was too strong for any other method. Thanks for covering this. Prince executed to perfection.

Prince is a super smart dog. You can tell he loves helping teach other dogs. I'm sure he feels superior all the time but he's smart enough to understand this is teaching. I am stunned with his ability to understand. Well done.
