Second video in the aim series, 'Aiming Styles & Grips'. Understanding the anatomy of how your arm is built up can help us break down which movements are best suited to performing our aiming tasks, of course sensitivity plays a part in this and we must also mentioned grips as the smallest change can see considerable difference in your aiming approach altogether.

Thank you, very clear information. I experimented with different grips and sensitivities for years, i settled on a palm grip but i definitely noticed my aim is slow and my vertical aim is hopeless, although my horizontal tracking and accuracy are definitely so much better. i have not heard of a fingertip claw grip before, i will definitely borrow your sens since my contact point is exactly like yours and try the grip for a few weeks

With ur claw fingertip grip, is any part of your hand making contact with the mouse/mousepad? Also i want to have maximum dexterity so i tried raising my arm anchoring at just below my elbow on edge of desk and grip the mouse slightly from above an i want to use arm, wrist and fingers and play on a high sens, this lets me move my arm with no friction because it is not touching anything but i lose stability and my aim gets worse. My question is if i practice this grip style enough will i be able to have enough stability and eventually surpass my aim with this grip over the others?(For example with fingertip you start off with worse aim than claw or palm but master it and you get better aim than the other 2).

I just noticed my elbow pivot point is not on the desk but on my gaming chair, will this be a problem? since my mouse pad is pretty small.\

I found out just readjusting over and over again helps with wrist pivot point since i cant use elbow pivot point as much.
