Still I would say that emergency under NaMo is much more dangerous than that under indira. NaMo is the only Indian PM who has been completely unchecked. Indira was dictator just for two years, but we will have to bear modi for coming 10 years and have been bearing him since 2014. I won't go into much details, you guys understand what I mean. I can give you 100 examples . People are saying that with opposition unity, BJP will be defeated. But I personally feel that they will do something brute so that opposition doesn't come to power. As far as previous versions of BJP are concerned, they also wanted manusmriti inspired constitution, but did not come with absolute majority and so couldn't fulfill the dream.

But the reason for convicting Indira Gandhi was very flimsy. Similar to disqualifying Rahul Gandhi.

Modi is routinely violating all kind of electrol laws.
