Saw many videos related to Emergency in India 1975, but this is the best because the scenes are placed in sequence which make it easy to understand.

Indira Gandhi herself undeclared Emergency...which means she was herself a democracy supporter. But what did Morarji Desai give to India? Indira Gandhi divided Pakistan to Bangladesh 🇧🇩. But morarji fucking desai dislodged RAW and saved Pakistani 🇵🇰 nuclear assets. 😅

The narrator is young & his narration is almost true based on prevalent facts. Indira's victory of 1971 war a terrible blow to US & NATO's. They were unhappy over India's NAM leadership. After Indira's fall Morarji was instrumental destroying R&AW. The leaders emerged in JP Movement can now be judged by their hidden greed of power & prosperity.

“It was India’s forsaken multitudes - whose suitability for democracy was repeatedly questioned and whose disenfranchisement high-mindedly rationalised away by the country's post-colonial elite - who resuscitated the republic [from the Emergency]” ― Komireddi KS.

I loved the fact how you didn't blatantly criticise one side and blamed the other, you showed every side very factually. That's how facts should be presented, unlike certain 'big' youtubers who only tries to show one side and influence people in a wrong way. Good job!

Greatness of Indira Gandhi is that she didnot make herself a dictator, despite being in full power and strongly implemented emergency. Great act that she allowed election is a fair and strong decision.

i am sure you are born after emergency,
still presented nicely
now also we face similar challenges
1-zund shahi (organised group activities)
2-abuse of power
3-too much importance to political activities

During the period of Emergency Indira Gandhi should have (1) Implemented CITIZENSHIP (2) Uniform Civil Code (3) One Job for One Family (4) Family Planning allowing Two or Three Children (5) Revision of IPC
