At the end, he spears to be choking up a bit remembering his comrades in arms. Very touching.

A few years ago I had the opportunity to fly in Panchito at an airshow and it was worth every penny I paid to do it🇺🇸

Thats one of the few warbirds I've had the privilege of flying in. Truly one of the aviation greats.

Larry, thanks for posting. My father served in B25 in North Africa and the Mediterranean.
Hope someday to be able to go inside one.

I have some great pictures of Panchito I shot out at MacDill AFB during an airfest. Love this immaculate plane. The crew seemed like really good people.

Thank you so much for doing this Larry.
Beings terse in my eyes too. We lost so many great Americans during that time. And people are forgetting.

My daughter and I had our picture taken with "Panchito" during the grand opening of the Branson Airport (BKG) May, 8-10 2009.
There were 1940's -1970's bi-planes performing aerobatics and of course the fabulous USAF Thunderbirds were there, putting on a stellar show.

I believe that is the same airplane I saw in Lakeland a few years ago. Beautiful. By the way, many B25s in the southwest Pacific actually had the nose modified with no Plexiglas and an additional 8 .50 cals in the nose to complement the 4 cheek guns. After the war, one Japanese admiral stated that it was the aircraft that they most feared. On skip bombing attacks, those nose guns would demolish any defensive fire from Japanese ships.
