Paul Nuwer gives us a tour of the B-25J Mitchell named "Panchito" as we see it perform in 2016

B-25’s were used in all theaters of war from Alaska to North Africa, China, Europe and the Southwest Pacific. They were flown by the U.S. Army Air Forces and U.S. Marine Corps, as well as the air forces of Britain, Canada, Australia, Russia, China, Brazil and the Netherland East Indies.

After WW2, this B-25 had life as a firefighting tanker, and later sprayed orange groves before being restored for demonstrations.

I was fortunate enough to be high school friends with Dan back in the mid 90’s who’s dad was a part owner of the Ponchito. Got to hang out all day during an air show in Fredericksburg MD, wear the orig flight suit and fly for the very first time ever in this incredible machine. Amazing day with great friends. Thanks for the video!

Great looking plane! I've been inside "Maid In The Shade", the B25 of the Arizona wing of the CAF. I also have a nice model of a B25 which you can see on my channel.
