Everyone's talking about the lack of Nina/Benny kisses, and the Fireworks part, but like, everyone on stage showing their lights at the beginning of Blackout. And then the camera starts turning to look at the crowd, and at first I wondered what the heck the camera person was doing, and suddenly I understood. The audience was showing their lights too. This is great. Then, the part when Usnavi is talking to Abuela, and she waves an arm to the crowd who still have their lights up, and sings, "The stars are out tonight~!" And I find that so friggin amazing.

I love how when the lights went out everyone knew what was going to happen and they got so excited!

The Blackout is my favourite part in the whole show.

The audience no longer fears the lights going out, they cheer now. I've seen a bootleg (I know I know it's bad) and the audience flipped when the lights went out.

The line "I can't find Usnavi" gives me chills down the back of my spine every time its SO FREAKING GOOD TF

I love how everyone is super respectful, and the jealousy is the thing that actually sets off the fight, not the actions of some random douchebags

I feel bad for Sonny,
1: Everyone's just like "OPEN THE DOOR" and Sonny was probably sleeping and now he's confused.
2: He immediately gave up saying they were powerless
3: Kevin and Usnavi drown him out when he first comes in actually, everyone drowns him out

but then again, it's pretty funny, a mob of people trying to open a door and he's like WHAT THE CHILEDOMINICURIAN HECKLO IS GOING ON

That band tho. That drummer tho. That harmony ending tho. Seth pacing the stage like he was in a rap concert tho. Gotta love every moment.

What I love most about this concert is the audience doesn’t sing along (you usually don’t in theatre concerts) but screams along with the spoken lines. It must be fucking amazing to perform to an audience like that.
