Everything New In The Monolith Update (0.50)!! - Worldbox

The Monolith update is finally here!! In this video I wanted to go over everything that's new in the update (which is A LOT). What things did I miss? Let me know in the comments below!

if you want to unlock EVERYTHING all you have to do is spawn lava, spawn a bunch of elves down, use the magnet and drop them in the lava since and repeat till you get the message " dark enlightened has infected your world!" and after tharyou have to go to the forbidden knowledge tab (which is in the world rule area) and click the middle. hope this helps (I got this information on the discord)

Hey! Fun little fact, when you discover the brain traits that control character intelligence (building, social ect..) you can actually make Necromancers into builders and they have super unique towns!

3:10 it would be funny if it has a high wood yield and takes forever to cut down, but once the people get too greedy and cut the whole thing down it falls over and crushes all buildings and creatures in its path.

worth noting, whilst some creatures don't have humanoid forms... it doesn't mean you can't edit them in ways that still lets them create civilizations. bugs have no humanoid form and they're either very hard to monlith or you just have to do it yourself... but you give them the right traits and they can still form civilizations.

basically everything (with a few exceptions) can make it's own civilization if you make it happen. and you can stop it at any time, the new brain system is hilarious too, imagine god just does an eeny meeny miny moe and steals your pre-frontal cortex or ability to walk because he thinks its funny.

so far i've made saiyans, land-piranha's, people without the ability to build so they just live ooga booga in the forest and sentient slimes that exist ONLY on cannibalism so they eat nothing else but their children. it's... quite good.

civ's of necromancers and plague doctors even.

They need to fix the lost progress stuff soon. It is not very fun when you have to repeatedly start again from square one after updates. Especially when the game is growing.

Guys, Culture in worldbox is important because its identifying where is he originated came from.
Example: There's Country name Alzus and Lires

- Alzus (Azur Culture)
- Lires (Lireo Culture)


Then you see humans that from Alzus and he born Alzus but his Culture is Lireo, it means his Ancestor, Originator, Heritage, Race is from Lires.

Lireo Culture is only for have blood originated from Lires.

Played for a few hours last night, the QoL updates and new graphs are amazing. I love the religions and languages too. Ended up with an elven religion that died out for the elves, but they had converted two dwarves and so they kept the religion alive 😂
