The display at the top isn't liquid crystal display LCD as it is referred at 1:55 also the XQD cards are not hard to be found at all unless you are in a rural area.

I just can't believe Canon still haven't implemented 120fps FHD into this, let alone their DSLRs. Come on Canon, what's the hold up?

i dont think they are crippling it they are just not at that level of tech in this form factor. They give you as best as they could for the form factor. :)

I am tired of hearing about Canon's next model. For Canon, tomorrow never comes.

Sony's mirroless camera is much more better than canon eosR.

In the 1960's I was trained to shoot 35mm cameras by a Canadian wire services photo editor. We followed the Nikon guidelines and always supported the lens from beneath with our left hand. This brought the elbow in to the abdomen and formed a human tripod to support longer exposures. I tend to be a tad skeptical of folks who focus by holding the lens from above. As a former photojournalist (TV Guide, Toronto Star, Globe and Mail) and wedding and portrait photographer who could pull 1/15th hand held in a church with a 'Blad, I am hoping that someone is paying attention to the actual technique of shooting, not just the hardware or software that corrects poor practice and jittery shots. Sorry. I'm done. Just call me a cranky old dude who made a pretty fine living with a camera. BTW? Anyone care to bid on some Blads, 4X5 cameras and enlargers, holders and seriously great glass ? I need another vintage guitar !

Piece of crap, do u think am going to move to Canon R from 5D Mark4. First short single card, second crop 4K. That why soon going to move to Sony 7R-3.

A bit of a let-down, especially for video. Really. How about all around? Nevermind the 2014 "crop 4k", lets dive into the camera features crippled by awful decisions and general FU to Canon consumers: At this price listing, we get a single SD card slot. Not XQD (which are NOT "hard to find"), a lack of a fucking AF joystick on the back, or full-frame 4K, or 1080p at 120 fps, or IBIS, combined with a "silent shutter mode" you can't use with sequential drive OR flash... 30 megapixels while the competition offers 42 Mpx or more...
This pig might have been outstanding three or four years ago.. but seriously? The "R" in Eos R stands for Retarded. As in to hold back or restrict. Canon has done a fine job in hobbling this camera to the point that its almost a slap in the face to current Canon owners who were expecting something competitive. Holy. Moly.

Its a weak camera. Canons is riding on the hopes that shooters wont switch due to the amount of glass they own... me as a new shooter will go with sony or fuji. Idk why i thought canon would impress me
