I love that they did not make Viktor or Jayce villains. They were simply two dudes who wanted to do good things and made mistakes along the way. But in the end, they stayed true to their beliefs.

Viktor is such a cool character, he manipulated his younger version and the child version of his partner in order to defeat himself after he accomplished his “perfect goal“ which was imperfect itself.

I noticed that Jayce's transformed metal statue is the most preserved. There's green vegetation that has grown on the side of his arms and even retained his facial features. Every other metalloid figure has zero facial features and is seen where the sun doesn't shine bright, but jayce's statue is the only one in the sunlight.

I love how the show was pretty much about Jinx and VI, and slowly transitioned into "Arcane" by the end, about the meaning of Magic, Struggle, fidelity and evolution.
This entire time it was a show about Victor and Jayce, with other characters in-between, we just haven't noticed it until the end.
One of the best "cartoons" in probably 30 years of entertainment. Its even hard to call it cartoon, since it feels like Live Action.

I love that Viktor’s goal isn’t necessarily wrong, nor does he state the true morality of his answer. He DOES end world suffering, he DOES solve every issue humanity ever had and granted them a sort of eternal salvation.

He just states that perfection isn’t all it’s cranked up to be, and that a life full of wonders and discovery and the pursuit of it is what made people “human” in the first place.

Humans can never be perfect, no amount of altruism or hedonism will ever separate humanity of its own flaws and virtues, anything more or less can’t be defined as “human” otherwise.

But Viktor after all this time is still a man of science, and in a perfect world, one where no problems occur as all are solved, all things have reached their apex and have their final answer, he strips away the one thing fundamental to every scientist, the one thing that serves as the first step to any experiment… the ability to question. And it’s quite unique that this version of Viktor, who reached this level of knowledge, never asks a question nor expresses a regret. He only shares his final answer.

In the pursuit of greatness they failed to do good, yet in their pursuit to do good, they lost sight of what made it great.
