It always shut off at the same RPM, 6800. I attributed it to a poor ignition pickup. Their hall sensor wouldn't work with my flywheel and i was using a gy6 pickup.

1 Year ago I was excited to buy an ecotrons kit for my motorcycle to solve my carb problems and go injection reliable. So I bought 34mm injection kit and started with worse problems than my carb that was design and programming problems, after contacting support and I finally solve all the problems by myself. 1 Year past now I’m experiencing problems again. Check and try all alternatives before you even think to proceed.

im having a similar problem on my 2 stroke yamaha BWS100 -- but only when i tap off slowing down for a stop sign ... then as i come onto the gas again -- nothing. i have to hold the throttle slightly open for a few seconds and then she starts running again .... thought is was decel fuel cut off - no fix. tried playing with decel fuel values - nothing.... Ecotrons cannot help me either!!!!  Sorry but the ecotrons system is crap!!

idk about ecotrons (yet) but it looks like a carb/manifold air leak

the problem is your guys own faults, its got nothing to do with the system, what it is is a fuel delivery issue, caused by 1 of 3 things

1. like the guy in this video, he has a two liter bottle, laying on its side, while his fuel pump is trying to pressurize the system(which is important for air lock, vapor lock, and fuel pressure) with 1.4 cubic meters of air flooding in! which kills the fuel pressure, creates air locks(why his mini bike dies, than starts again right away) and is an all around performance killer!!!

2. Hydro lock, cascading into vapor lock( a great way to literally explode a motor) too much fuel, dumped into a hot motor will turn into vapor the split second air is introduced, tune the system to ensure you are not dumping mass amounts of fuel, just because it has a fuel return doesnt mean you cant flood the motor, flood a hot motor, then twist you throttle, it adds air, then all that fuel or at least like 70% of it is zapped into vapor, add spark to a cylinder half full of fuel and fuel seen that exact scenario snap crank shafts at the connecting rod from the piston being driven so hard down from it, seen shattered connecting rods, pistons, seen rods shoved through cases, its one of the most dangerous things a mechanic can deal with.

3. when doing the install, you guys with roll on issues, failed to cap off vacuum ports, or failed to tune properly, or both, BUT THE FIRST THING I WOULD LOOK FOR IS A VACUUM ISSUE WITH THE RETURN OR IDLE AIR CONTROL, IF ITS HAPPENING WHEN YOU ARE NOT COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP AND THEN TRYING TO TAKE OFF Again, THE ISSUE IS THE IAC LEANING THE SYSTEM WAYYY TOO MUCH, A WAY TO CHECK THIS WOULD BE TO ELIMINATE THE SELF TUNING, AND SET THE IAC AT +1 TO -1 BAR, THEN TRY TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM, IF THAT FIXES IT, ORDER A NEW IAC AND TUNE IT PROPERLY. IF ITS AN ISSUE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE IAC, YOU'LL BE GETTING POPPING ON DECELERATION AND A HUGE HESITATION FROM JUST ABOVE IDLE TO MID RANGE RPM'S

Guess this was meant for a woman to watch as men can't read another man's mind or what he's thinking. I have no idea what your thinking or what is going on. Sorry. :-(
