Also; for an alternative to a humidifier- you can have small metal containers (cup measures for instance) with water, on your radiator so the water evaporates or just have a wet cloth on the radiator.

I've been moisturizing in the shower immediately after patting dry since I was about 13??. Read about it in Seventeen mag (I'm 49). I keep an arsenal of thick body creams in there at all times. My husband is constantly remarking on my skin. Taught my teen daughters to do the same. It works!

FAB is the absolute best! My husband and son have excema and I have extremely sensitive skin and rosacea. We use it from head to toe. I use it on my face most of the year and it calms my skin down. It’s the best. I’d advise anyone with sensitive skin to try it. I’ve never had breakouts either using it on the face which is a miracle.

Dr. M, a follow up from last week about the cracks around my mouth. I bought the Desitin, healed in 2 days!! Thank you so much❤️

I relate soo much to the comment on moisturising directly after showering. It really has been life changing for my eczema! even just doing this every day after showering has significantly reduced my eczema. It was a bit of a chore at beginning but i then started to see the benefits :) If anyone else hasn't tried it yet I strongly suggest you do!

Just followed up this video with your video on how to use retinoids...both are super helpful...as you always are.. you asked constructive criticism at the end of the retinoid video but all I can say is I love you both just the way you are: intelligent, well-spoken, charming, personable, funny & down to earth!! Don't change a thing!

I just wanted to comment that's it so nice to see Dr Maxfield coming out of his shell a little more and contributing more instead of just smoldering at Dr Shah :P AND oh my gosh I love the weekly live!

I *love* my humidifier! It has changed my skin so much for the better, and it has also helped with my allergies. I used to use a warm mist one but transitioned to a cool mist and it works much better for me; it's easier to keep clean, doesn't seem to cause mold/mildew, and my skin just feels better with it.

Wow, I’ve been binging other skincare videos, and I have to say: you two are the most well-informed, judicious, careful, and intelligent dermatologists out here. I mean, the quality of your content is just untouchable, levels above anything else. You always present a well-rounded and detailed explanation. And everything is so well-researched and backed by your practical experiences of treating patients and your own scholarly activity.
I hope you keep doing this. The Internet needs this kind of knowledge—and critical thinking. I am actually going to have my own PhD students watch a few of your videos so they can get an idea of how to talk about their research and manage the discourse of public/popular knowledge. And how to be experts without being assholes.

The fact y'all emphasized "thick" made me fully invest in you guys 😂

Ngl the sneaky reformulations that FAB did left me feeling cold, not telling anyone and consumers finding their favorite products no longer work as well, beneficial ingredients being pushed lower on the ingredients list, a good example of corporate greed.

Dr. Maxfield putting seltzer water in his hair to avoid getting up is 1000% relatable. Thank you for that!

Honeymooned in CO. Love it so much there! I remember walking in and there was a humidifier in the room. BIG change from the humid South! I would take CO with a humidifier any day!

I love binge watching your videos😍 Can you please give routine for night shift workers and how do we deal with aging/sunscreen? Is it worth applying sunscreen when sun is still rising? Thank you ☺️
