15 years ago I remember showing my dad this video, and us being amazed together. Now I'm in my early 30's and dad passed away a few years back. Crazy that it popped back up into my feed again. It is a nice memory.

I live in the tropics so seasons never change as dramatically as this...but I have been through some temperate-zone winters and it's amazing how dramatically different everything looks with leaves and without them.

Did this give anyone else a very soft sense of sadness in a way? Particularly with the fact that we watch a year go by in a video posted 15 years ago? So much can change in that time, so many loved ones lost and loved ones gained. We're so different now than back then, yet at the same time, I have a feeling the location shown in these images hasn't changed much. 1 or 15 years later and that shack is peobably still there, same as these trees. One can watch the same course of seasons go by as if everything else that happened in the last 15 years was just a dream.
