Hugh Ross is a famous old earth creationist. Jason Lisle is a famous young earth (Biblical) creationist. They were in a debate some time ago where they discussed the light of distant stars. Ross made an argument that Lisle said already refuted in his article. Ross would have liked a public debate with astrophysicists as judges. Lisle rightly pointed out that such a debate is not the best form of scientific dialogue. For the real scientific dialogue takes place through the exchange of letters (articles) so that the arguments can be formed into the best possible ones and possible mistakes are easier to avoid, and the sources can be presented directly.

The problem of the distant Starlight has been talked about by creationists for ages and it would be a great service to science and to all lovers of creationism if Ross and Lisle started a scientific dialogue on the subject. Such a dialogue would certainly get both gentlemen to consider the subject carefully and perhaps they would get new ideas and criticism could get them to take new perspectives into account. Such a critical dialogue can be really constructive.

Try to undo it and make a counter-article to it, then Lisle will give it a counter-article, etc ..

Good luck to both!
