I like this idea. I've tried plastic cups, but the heat & sunlight here makes them crack in 1-2 seasons of use and they take up so much space in my greenhouse. I tried making pots of paper, but our weather didn't cooperate. 4 months of rain and 3 months of weird extreme cold had me holding over the transplants too long and the paper pots deteriorated too much, causing me to damage roots when I could finally transplant. The root shock plus then the extreme heat after the cold then another month of cold and no rain for 2 months when I finally got them in the ground did a whammy on the transplanted plants, setting them back. This looks like it might at least solve the root/transplant issue and last several seasons or more and be affordable. Thank you!

Loved the video, but I'm curious. I usually use red solo cups with holes poked in the bottom, is there a reason you like this method more? Does the clear plastic allow for more light?
