Yeah, it's called tracking his passport to see which Country he traveled to, but now that he knows that his story is all over the U.S. news, he'll be forced to make his way to the Vietnam region, where no extradition treaty is in place with the U.S.A.

How do you take out a $375, 000 life policy if your not dead? also how did he get to Canada so fast leaving his car, keys, money, wallet and everything else behind? He had to have help some how.

It's not " against the law " to disappear . The purchase of the life insurance could be an " attempted " fraud but it hasn't been paid out . Therefore, no crime . He didn't travel under an assumed name ( that's a crime ) ; so, he must have done research . Ryan is a douche bag but he hasn't done anything to merit the government being involved . The wife can file civil suits and seek financial restitution, divorce, transfer property, and so on . Still, there's no way criminal law enforcement should be involved . Once it's established, that he is alive and living in another country . Government overreach is not a good thing, no matter the circumstance .
