His restaurant in Turkey is supposed to be priced a lot cheaper than elsewhere around the world. It seems like he doesn't want to rip off the people I'm his home country but everyone else around the world is fair game.

Some restaurant in Turkey still sell alcohol and alcohol with halal food in the same place is not good but not sure if the food is still halal or not, personally I would not eat at that restaurant

The rent, taxes, employee, meat, vegetables ( the cost of culinary ) far far expensive than Turkiye

So you cannot compare Turkiye and US prices
