Yesterday I was driving home from work late at night in the rain and this song came on; I’d forgotten I put it on my playlist. I put it on loop and drove around for an extra fifteen minutes because it was such an incredible experience. Everything was so beautiful—it put everything into perspective and I realized all the little things I was worried about didn’t really matter that much. I highly highly recommend giving that a try next time it’s raining at night. Put on this song and go for a drive. It’s amazing, I promise.

My son and I love Interstellar, we discovered it together and watch it quite often. When Cooper finally reunites with Murph and she delivers her line “Because my Dad promised me” I always break down in tears. A parent’s of their child is forever. It gives me hope that I’ll always love my son, in this life and whatever may come next.

I was going through a real tough time, my addictions had me full force. I put this movie on, and I cannot get that feeling ever again watching it for the first time. Everything felt alright. I never forgot it. Hearing this again brings back all those feelings. I still come back to this to forget it all again.
