Summer ACTIVITY KITS - What to do when the kids are bored! Boredom Busters

I like to make activity kits for my kids to help keep them entertained, especially when they are bored. Usually I'm making restaurant kits and we take them to play with when we are waiting for our food. But recently, we haven't been going to restaurants so I'm making summer boredom kits. What are you putting in your activity kits?

These are always the best... my boys are so tired of our same old thing and it is too hot in this neck of the woods for any thing. So we have been major bumming it Couch surfing with our favorite movies. We try to read several books a day, as well as doing some ABCya.com games so they feel like they get some "video game" time. Yuck. I'd love to take them to a museum or the movies which is our typical summer once a week get out and do something different. Not this year. Blech. Totally depressing.
