DONT Waste Your Money on SHF Momo

I'm just an awkard guy.... You probably shouldn't film a review while out of it on new years, but what would Momo do? Momo would yolo the hell out of it and so did I.

You know how also just yolo's the hell out of things? SH Figuarts. This Momo Ayase Figure, the first in the Dandadan series of figures which I paid $52.56 for has some huge problems. Even beyond the lackluster accessories that befit a best selection figure, and no ab crunch. No in this review I eventually find that the momo figure rubs on itself and destroys its own paint if you try to articulate it. A serious flaw. If you twist or manipulate the ab or chest joint at all, it destroys the paint on the figure as it all rubs together. I still enjoy the figure alot, as always they nail the look. Okarun's main girl looks great even while lacking facial expressions and power effects that would make this a next level figure. But none of that really matters cause the figure will damage itself before you know you've done it.

If you can catch it on clearance its still worth it, just be careful. Also read the Manga, I know the anime is great, I'm slowly watching it, but I LOVE reading dandadan.

9:16 My jaw dropped here. How utterly disgusting on a "premium" action figure. Then the infamous diaphragm squeak to boot. That paint scuff is just horrid and inexcusable. I started watching the show, but definitely skipping these now.

I was pretty bummed when I opened it :D I still LIKE IT, it's momo, she's the only reason I started reading Dan Dadan, so I had to have her in the collection, so now I'm thinking of getting a better articulated body for her and doing a custom, the manga and anime start with her kicking in a very dynamic pose, why would SHF do a figure that can't do that pose????

I don't get this company at all, I have tons of Japanese imports from Nendoroids to S.H. Figuarts to Figma. If you look at their One Piece Wano figures, they are utter garbage. I ended up just donating my 80 dollar Zoro figure cause the arms and torso constantly popped off. But their new Romance Dawn figures are pretty good. Still a bit odd with the shoulder joints but at least it the limbs dont pop off all the time. I don't understand how their figures can be so drastically different from within even the same line and I don't understand the pricing at all. Why is Luffy $35 but Zoro/Nami $65+?
