In this episode we finally explore the beautiful, unique and awe inspiring Isle of Skye, Scotland. We stay in the Cullins Hill Hotel in the beautiful city of Portree. We ate at the Skeabost House Hotel and explored all the ins and outs of Portree. This episode is all about pivioting. Even though we love exploring in the off season, and we love rainy weather, all of these issues made our goals of exploring quite a challenge. And this episode shows how we make the best of a rainy situation - which on Skye, is easy to do!

We stayed at the Cullin Hills Hotel for a couple of nights some years ago and really enjoyed the property, the view and the food. We're from Maryland and met another couple from home as well. We have dinner reservations there again in August during our last visit to Scotland.

Me & my husband are going to scotland for two weeks at the end of November to early December and ive been looking up hours everywhere because im nervous about everything being closed. We can handle bad weather, especially since this is the only time of year we can travel

I was in Skye about 3 weeks ago and it was great (albeit abit rainy and very windy). Second time with my family there.... it was great. Purposely stayed at Plockton this time as it was near Skye bridge.

All my friends who live on Skye hate it now -- too crowded. Too many tourists. Too expensive.

Call that bad weather, I've had snow in June. And no midges so, swings and roundabouts.

We live on Skye and everything closes in the winter, all these establishments rip off the tourists during the season and then sit counting their money in the winter, we have no normal pubs to go to, every thing is so expensive, not a nice place to live at all .
