The book was soooo good!!! The whole time I was reading it I was thinking that this would make a great limited tv series, and so I was SO excited when I saw it advertised on Paramount Plus! So many shots are exactly how I envisioned it from the book. Can't wait to watch this.

A different genre to what Sheridan Smith usually has. First Royle Family and Two pints. Then Benidorm. No Return and the Teacher, looking forward to this and i hope it opens doors to this kind of genre in the future for her. Brilliant actress x

I know there are probably plot reasons in this film/the book, but I'm always struck by the ridiculousness of the concept of everyone in a disaster like this, being suspicious of each other. Like, what does it matter? You're all stuck on an island, why wouldn't you trust the people also stuck there? At least as a baseline, you are all in the same situation. Odds are you're all gonna die if you don't work together. From everything I've read, in these situations people generally treat each other well, and try to pull together to maintain the status quo. (I guess it's different in a pirate scenario or whatever, but most normal people would be so screwed in that situation, there's not a lot of time for plotting.)

Show looks good though. I don't think I could ever let it go if any of my family, or friends went missing in a plane crash. I'd always want to know what happened.
