One day my mom will experience this I want her to I never knew the feeling of grandparent my grandma from my moms side died when I was really young as well as my other grandparents my grandfather on my moms side died when I was nine when he was visiting from Mexico he didn’t live in US so I couldn’t play with him all the time and my grandma on my dads side wasn’t much of a grandma she didn’t like me very much cause I look like my father she was stubborn as well and very stern I cared for her but she made it difficult she died when I was 16 or 18 years old the one grandparent I had any interaction was my great grandmother she lived to be 93 years old and my great grandfather he was 97 when he passed I remember them fondly I consider them both good grandparents

I'm glad my folks are happy with 4 legged and furry grandkids. My sister never wanted kids and I did back in my 20's but we both have too many health issues. We both had to have hysterectomies before age 40. She shares custody of 3 dogs and a cat with Mom (Dad has passed) and I have 2 dogs, 2 bunnies and 8 cats plus the neighbor's kitten who visits most days. Crazy cat lady, that's me.

I never met either of my great grandparents, and although I'm not sure I would've gotten along with them (mostly on my moms side, the only great grandpa we had on our dads side wasn't blood related but he was a cool dude who was into espiritismo) but it is nice when a great grandparent is able to meet their great grandchild, it seems so much less likely sometimes that a great grandparent will live long enough to meet them, it's sweet.

Wow, it make me realize that I miss my son and my daughter they love they grow but I remember when me and my wife we came to our house and they saw our first granddaughter Carmela, and then Joseph there was so happy rest in peace, my mother-in-law and my father-in-law was so happy with my two beautiful kids❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
