My Homemade Chicken Broth

We can really tell a difference in the dishes that I cook when I make my own chicken broth. This batch that I was making was for my chicken pie. It was amazing. Everybody said that they could tell a difference with the flavor.
All I do is place my chicken in some water and add some celery, carrots, onion, garlic, and some seasonings all together. Bring it to a boil. Once it boils, cover and let it simmer. Once it's ready, I strain it. So easy.

My Mon used to make chicken broth kinda like this. She put the broth in ice cube trays, froze then bagged up to use one chicken cube at a time. Thanks for showing your recipe. Looks mighty tasty.

A beautiful homemade chicken broth Cricket. We often make our own and chicken stock to but as we're gettin older we more often take the easy way out. You're right though, homemade is so much better. Now I love all veggies so anything goes in my chicken pie. But Dorothy is like the rest of your family...hold the extra veggies. We would love to see your version of the chicken pie.
