So everyday until Christmas I'm doing a one piece advent calendar where I'll be discussing the top 25 Strongest living Characters in the series right now. As usual this concept was inspired by Tamirs Verse, so be sure to check him out.. Now next on my list is the current fleet admiral of the marines and the strongest marine in the series right now, its number 6 Akainu. Akainu is the current user of the Magu Magu no mi, which is arguably one of the strongest logia devil fruits in the series as it literally makes the users body lava.. He is also credited with one of the most important moments in the story, the death of Luffy’s Older brother Ace. After the Paramount war he fought Aokiji and won the fleet admiral position as a result. His immense power and twisted belief in his version of justice makes him a truly terrifying opponent for anyone in the series, which is why many including myself see his future fight vs either Luffy or Sabo as one of the most anticipated fights in the entire story of One piece.
