Do the standard AirPods fit in your ears?

Pro 2’s I’m constantly pushing them back in while working out. Trying the 4’s the ANC is quite impressive for non tip buds. I find they work better for me than the pros. They don’t fall out at all.

The noise you hear when closing the case at 3:50 means the case battery is <40%. On the pro 2s you can check battery by pressing the button and listening if you hear that noise it means it’s <40%.

I have the AirPods gen 2 and upgraded to 4 they fit me so much better!! I wore them for hours.

Exactly same for me with the left ear…for me it feels like i constantly notice its there more than i should like something is stuck there and also a bit less stable than the perfectly fitting right ear…

Upgraded from AirPods 3 to 4 w/ anc, fit is better the 3’s had the tendency to fall out once in awhile, mostly turning my head / bending over sometimes or turning my head sideways while lying down, so far. No problems with the 4’s at all and find them very comfortable, i will say sound wise which is very subjective I find the reduced bass mode, works the best for me as a very balanced sound, right amount of bass and treble, love the outer speaker to help me find the case easier, a great product from Apple!

Just picked them up yesterday so far the fit is great. I’ve tried the 3s and they always feel out and I went back to the 2s and the 4s fit even better than the 2s. So far I’m impressed with the 4s

Weirdly the AirPods Pro work pretty well for me but one gradually works its way out - have to push in while running. The normal AirPods without rubber tips stay in my ears perfectly - although I’m thinking about the old long stalk type.

I can’t use the AirPods Pro unfortunately because the silicone inserts cause my ears to become inflamed, itchy, and red. So the AirPods 4 with ANC sounds like they might be a solution for me

You can indeed try them in an Apple Store. They get immediately wiped down and disinfected ready for the next tester after you finish.

Also, how cool do they look on that Teal iPhone 16?

As an Android phone. Also ask somebody who is not a fan of Apple. I just picked up the airpods 4 with ANC and I must say the noise canceling is pretty decent. I take public transportation and I live in the city of chicago. it does a great job of canceling out a lot of the noise I'd say at least 65 to 70% of it. Gotta give apple their props

I agree with this review 100%. I LOVE everything about the 4 except the fit - they slide out of my ears (particularly my left ear). So I'm returning them and sticking with the Airpods 2 (my favorite fit) and the Pro 2 (which I actually don't love since I don't like having to shove the eartips into my ear canal, but at least they stay in).

Got the same issue as you do. The Airpods simply does not settle in my left ear. After finally upgrading my iPhone, I’m going for the Pros

Mine too! The right ear, it fits perfectly, the left, I’m constantly adjusting it. 🤔

The fit in the ear will have a significant impact upon sound quality.

My AirPods 3 fit my ears perfectly and I get on well with them (I imagine the 4’s are not a lot different in fit tbh) - but a family member found the 3’s didn’t fit very well (has smaller ears) and said the 2’s sounded better to them coz the fit was apparently more snug.

Definitely, one size does not suit all imo.

I have Pros (1st gen) and they are indeed great in noisy environments. Not so sure if you’re outside and it is windy though.

I have the same problem with my right ear. So I purchased a set of slide on ear hooks and they fit well, the only thing is I have to take off the ear hooks so I can charge the headphones👍🏽

The original AirPods used to fit my ears pretty well, but I have the same issue with the AirPods 3 as Mark’s left ear. I had similar problems with the first AirPods Pro, but the Pro 2 with the extra small ear tip fits perfect. I’m still interested in checking out the AirPods 4 to see if they have improved for my ears, because sometimes I just don’t want ear tips.

I have the AirPods Pro 2 and they are useless for me while running. Constantly need to adjust them unlike the original AirPods where I can run for hrs and never have to touch them

I took back the AirPod 4s today and got the Pro 2s. The fit for me was ok but wasn’t the best. I tried the pros and they are perfect for me. The 4s sound amazing and almost as good as the pros. The fit was the only reason I took them back. I had and still have the AirPod 2s.
