Actually there is much more to it, after I signed up, I realized that this entity which is the d&a clearinghouse is more about userping the DMV'S driver report, but potential drivers applying for a job are still asked for the dmv driver report which is an actual report of a driver's history, on my dmv report it plainly states "no accidents" yet when I updated my insurance the insurance company said I had 4 points on my license, so it's not about better control of drivers who do drugs but but more better control of what insurance company's can charge drivers for insurance, and maybe even a way to decide who can drive a truck in the first place.

Is this only for CDL drivers? I currently am getting my dot and Mc ( came as a package for everything) regardless. Do I need it if I’m just running a 2016 ford transit high roof and only operate in Texas?

So i failed my random drug test last year on May 2022, I got laid off from work because company ran out of business on this year August. I still got 3 years and a half to go because clearinghouse keep your drug related record for 5 years. So my question is after 3 and a half years passed and they remove my status for drug violation in clearinghouse, Am i eligible to get hire easy like others? employer cannot find out about it? I probably have to work at the dock worker or have a non-CDL driving job until my record goes off but I am just curious If they will hire me after my record dissapear. I love trucking career easy money but this is so cruel punishment for made a single mistake, I didnt hit anyone or kill anyone. Only second chance I can get is driving over the road. I have no family and paying apartment for over 1500 per month and come home every 2 weeks? forget it

I was on my second day of trucking school for swift passed a urine but failed a hair and got kicked out do u think it will pop up anywhere if I tried to go to school else where
