I went in for a random drug test peed in the cup brought it back to the nurse and she failed it due to the temperature not being warm enough it was a passing sample and they wanted me to wait up to 3hrs to take it again. At the time I was not aware of the clearinghouse program this happened in October of 2020 an argument ensued and I left the next day I went into work and they notified me that they labeled me as a refusal and failed me then I got a letter in the mail from clearinghouse that I am no longer eligible to operate a commercial vehicle and had to register with the clearinghouse which I did I’ve been on it for close to 3yrs now and have been refused by multiple companies due to this mix up I’m clean and sober then and clean and sober now this clearinghouse is bull shit.I have always passed all of my drug tests and alcohol tests.

I got a buddy. Who was in the clearinghouse house. He took the CLASSES GOT BACK RTD. WHILE WAITING A YEAR. HE TOOK A 10 DRUG TEST. AFTER THE YEAR AND ALL TEST CAME BACK CLEAN. HE'S NOW OUT OF THE CLEARINGHOUSE. I THINK YOU HAVE TO REQUEST THAT FROM YOUR COUNSELOR BUT IF YOU FAIL TWICE. I THINK THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DRIVE IS A OWNER TRUCK OR DUMP TRUCK

I think when you pass the classes take all the drug test and are on a return to duty status they should charge that 5 year on yr record thing . Its to long they should make it 2 years at the most

How can you get rtd process done if no one except it its ridiculous

Unless you own the truck or have a buddy with a company there is no realistic return to duty process.

I was said by a company that i refused a drug test in which the company never set up, and i called to speak to the FMCSA, and they told me that their wasn't nothing they could do 😲 I only had 3 day to make a protest about it after that, i had no choice in the matter or lose my CDL license, and pay all this money for something that is not true !!!! At least FMCSA should've set up a meeting and gave me a chance to defend my side of what happened and prove to me and FMCSA clearinghouse that this is not the case, im sure I'm not the only one this has ever happened too, i feel that things has got to change in this area, never ever had i ever refused a drug test or failed one .

I worked for this company in Blackshear GA, called Thom’s Transport. I went the doctor on March 2, 2023. My doctor had me out of work from March 2, 2023-March 13, 2023. My doctor faxed the company my excuse to be out before I left the office. Monday march 5, 2023 - march 10, 2023 the called me saying I came up in a random drug test. I told them that hey I’m out sick and the medicine my doctor had me on said don’t operate machinery or drive, hence the reason I’m not working. I told them that I would gladly take the test once I’m released from the doctor and returned to work. Long story short Darrien Thomas, the owner told me on march 10 that he was coming to get his truck, which he did and sent it to clearinghouse that I refused the test. Not even mentioning that I was out sick with a doctors excuse and now I have a violation.

They Still don't let you go back to work after RTD also they shouldn't judge anyone on a pre employment give them a chance to test again if found dirty in 30 days he is fired and has to do RTD

Failed a pre-employment drug test because weed was still in my system from smoking 3 weeks prior while on vacation. So now I get to go through this RTD process. I can get black out drunk after work sober up the next day and that's fine but smoke weed and your done? That's fuking stupid.

Going to get all this done and get back to work but will be looking to change careers. So many rules and tests and other bs, trucking doesn't even pay all that much anymore
