Nice video! As an MEP electrical engineer that actually produces these types of drawings, I feel you covered them very well - specifically how you point out referring to the symbols and abbreviations, and how the "keyed notes" tie to the drawings. You even threw in some "design tips" such as the different types of emergency lighting (generator, inverter, batteries, etc). Nice thorough review!

Thank you for creating these presentations. I just discovered your channel and it's really helping me. I do have a question: for small residential projects, would you draw lines connecting lighting fixtures to their respective switches, or use a symbol at the fixture and identical symbol at location where you want the switch? Is there a reference you can direct me to that illustrates this?

Hey love your stuff I'm just confused on something. What's the difference between NEC code that we should follow vs specifications provided in a project in electrical drawings ? Like are the specifications pulled from the NEC ?? Or they're two different things

Hlw mate, as per your suggestion i try to apply for internship in construction but sadly 😢 no selection as the requirements is either citizen or PR holder or newzeland citizen. I used online platform like seek, indeed to search for internship opportunities but sadly😢 not selected. It is so difficult especially for international student with no or less experience.
Still applying( as i will complete my masters in this December 20024) 😊
