More people need to know about this. I pieced together a live-edge, height-adjustable, premium desk for less than $1000. Most desk companies are charging $3000-$5000 for the same thing! Check it out.

After doing so much research into desks that suit my needs, after about a week and a half I settled on a manual-height-adjustable desk frame with live edge on top. Then BAM YouTube hit me with this 🤟 This was exactly what I needed to understand exactly what I wanted. Thank you for this 🤟

This is awesome, do you have the measurements in terms of position on the desk for the placement of the speaker stands and monitor stand? I’m looking to replicate! Thanks ❤

Digging the desk. Looks rad. I recently built one using a piece of butcher block.

If you didn’t know, you can currently get a butcher block that’s about 98 inches at ikea it seems for $300 if you choose to have it in walnut which is honestly quite a steal if you ask me, though you can get it cheaper if you chose any of there other wood options.

I have been search for the hand crank frame. Do you know where else it can be purchased?

I'm building the exact desk but I'm a little confused on the bolts for the casters. The amazon link says they come with M8 x 15MM bolts. So I don't have to order them?

I am glad my choice in using Interbuild acacia wood from home depot for a setup I made last year was validated with same reason as your video!

Looking good!

so the Jarvis hand crank frame is no longer available (at least in Canada). I ended up going with the Flexispot Pro Plus Standing Desk (E7) with C shaped frame as it was one of the only ones I could find that has the c-shape. I thought this was an important distinction from the typical frame with the leg in the middle. So far it's pretty solid, a little bit of wobble when at full height but from what I've read you can't avoid this with standing desks unless you get one of the ones with 4 legs (Deskhaus Apex for example) which are very pricey.

As of today, this desk stand is no longer being sold.

I ordered the teak one too. It seems more yellow in color than yours and not as calm texture wise. Will that get better when i apply the oil? :)
