ever wonder why spiders and many other creatures seem to react to being filmed? well those creatures can actually see infrared light which many cameras employ while recording. so if a cryptid or other creature can see infrared light it could mean they have the upper hand in avoiding being caught on film. it is possible that the best odds of filming a mysterious creature is to only try to with cameras which cannot give off infrared, ultraviolet or other indicators which humans think are invisible. in fact, a certain percentage of the human race have special mutations such as being able to hear electronic devices when they are turned on. so it isn't much of a jump to assume there are lots of other creatures that can also hear a camera when it is on and filming. so if one can eliminate those red flags from a recording device while it is functioning, one may be able to create a cryptid specialized camera and actually maybe... film real evidence of gnomes.

Elisa Lam absolutely could not have been killed by Richard Ramirez unless he somehow managed to escape prison a few months before he died.

With the Elisa Lam case, they figured it was a bipolar episode. Her blood level showed she wasn't taking her medication as she used to.
The officers who first went up said that the lid was closed, which made them think she was put there. But, they found out that the officers made a mistake and that the lid was open. And that Elisa was running from hallucinations and went to hide in the water tank but couldn't get back out.

That is the latest theory.

EDIT: I guess the maintenance worker is the first one to investigate the tank due to the water issue. He stated the lid was open, but I guess the police mistakingly wrote that the lid was closed.

My apartment is kinda like that lol. I RARELY see anyone. I can count on one hand how many people I come across in a month and they don’t speak to me.
