Making a unique front suspension tilting tricycle

Going so far i'm introducing my new front suspension tilting design built to attach on a bicycle frame.

The benefits of that system is that you can carry a big basket between the front 2 wheels, as big as is the space there, because of the parallel moving of both wheels compared with the steering system.
Also the front suspension giving a smooth scrolling above the road bumping transferring the bounce from one wheel both to suspension and the other wheel - not to the frame.
Farthermore, despite the fact that the wheels have a soft feeling of damping individually, when they are overloaded at the same time, suspension hardens exponentially to withstand the pressure it receives.

Those "tilting designs" usually fail to keep the center of gravity low when cornering produsing the oposite phenomenon to their vehicles that attached. Having big wheel diameter, making that worse, because the user have to fight with the center of gravity when cornering. To solve that parammeter i choose a the very low front arm joints geometry relative to the hubs of the front wheels.

Disadvantages of my design is front braking. Because of the fact i have independent front wheels, braking is determined by road traction of each wheel. When one of them slips, the other push the front system to turn at one direction. I'm working to find a solution to this problem by putting a steering damper to my front system to decrease tha fact..

That's the best design that I've seen so far. Wish I had one.

Best concept lean-steer to a standard bike I've seen. Great engineering, hope it goes to production.

Um dos melhores designer de suspensão independente que já vai, ficou ótimo

Cool idea, this is something that I would have when I am a lot older, and also this tilting front duel wheels is a really good idea as you do not have to worry about the push that you can get with a standard duel rear wheel trike setup.
A really cool idea.

Hi, very cool looking trike. Does the bike part become less stable because the front wheel is no longer directly attached to the forks?
And how do you lock out the tilting when you park it?

where is the " making " part

Great looks of this old technology. Congratulations.

Excelent! Perfect! But ¿what's happen with the rear suspencion for back wheel?

Very cool and well executed.
I’m interested to see how you distribute any load carried in front and if you need to extend the wheel base (front to back) to keep the rear grounded.

Awesome! This has so many applications. Would love something like this on a 30mph e-bike. Would also like a conversion kit that could be used on any bike. Let me know when I can buy one!

Thanks for sharing your videos, I am building and design my project, unfortunately, I do not have any workshop and or any special tools. All parts built is bit by bit, part by part. I still working on it for better design on the suspension parts. Hope to complete it !

Wow! Been thinking of something a bit like this for a while - but this is on another level.... Bravo!

That thing is so cool! I would love the try that bike out. Also it would be really cool to see it with 2 wheels in the back. I don’t even want to think about what pulling a wheelie feels like. Oh wait, actually I do.

Very nice work, idea and setup. The only big problem here will be to drive with the system loaded, it will make you have arms like Arnold... 😅 Therefor the traditional steering system exists; to make the wheels change directions and not the whole load. I personally will put the damper inside the lower arm, that way, it won't change it's geometry everytime you tilt. Good Job!

An e-bike in this configuration would be awesome!

As a road bike for a single person I would say it is a roadhog. But as a bike to carry cargo or a person, great idea!

I have recently gotten interested in tilting bikes. And trying to learn how to do it. It appears to me that only the shock absorber is not attached to the main frame. Instead it just kind of floats and is connected to both a arms. Everything else is connected as on a mormal bike. Is this correct??? Thanks, great job! Pete
