You made this so easy to follow with the perfect amount of repetition and using varying terms. Every person in the US should understand the basics of refrigeration. Very cool southern drawl too!

I am pure electrical engineer having least amount of knowledge of refrigeration cycle, in short I started my refrigeration career from this lecture of yours, you did the job beyond the excellence SIR.

Hi--I'm not HVAC---I'm just a female homeowner that chooses to learn so that I can be an informed consumer. Thank you for this excellent video

I know this video is 7 years old, but thank you for sharing your knowledge! You helped me understand latent and sensible heat much better. Very professional and easy to understand.

on a regular day I would have to pay a lot of money for a class 1/2 as good as your video. for many years I have been looking to understand how ac works. your video did it in 1/2 an hr.  I am grateful for it. the class I took in college was not even one 100th as good or detailed as your video is.

Quite informative, thank you. I'm an electrician who only occasionally works on HVAC, but the time you spent to explain the temp/pressure relationship was very helpful.

EXCELLENT!!! This video alone has saved me HOURS of watching other mediocre videos! Thank You! The only thing I need to find now is how you got 35 degree application to 10 SEER and how the Rh affects the numbers

Absolutely a great video. Trouble shooting if condenser fins become restricted with dirt/ grass or fan stops what temp rises to at metering device. Also on low side, if return air filter is clogged and not enough air flow through the evaporator. I have seen air registers closed in 4 rooms with a 5 ton unit and customer doesn't understand why the A coil is freezing up. They will tell you, I am not using the rooms, so I shut off the air flow to save on electricity. The opposite happens, coil freezes up, the rooms needing cooling are not receiving air and the compressor never shuts off. Allergy filters will cause more trouble than they are worth just from restricting air flow. This is one of the best videos I have seen on you tube with a piston/orifice devise.
