i played espeon with trick and choice scarf. its hidden ability deflects spikes and such so when predicting a status attack you can swap espeon in and then give the opponent a scarf.
in my opinion the only option how to play espeon becouse without that gimmick alakazam is simply better.

Wolfey here is a secret espeon tech so you have magic bounce espeon and parting shot obstagoon with defiant. The idea is parting shot the espeon with your goon and than get plus 3 Attack on goon than have espeon switch to a good pokemon like clefairy.
