These opinions/examples seem very textbook but not practical. Speaking from a "mans" perspective, a lot of women say that they want some of these qualities in men. But women constantly go after the guy that would treat them like shit.

It's guys like me that have the majority of the qualities you think makes a perfect gentlemen. We have to jump through hopes to make the relationship work. Our good upbringing, our good career, and our "good guy" image becomes less desirable to today's women. Whereas, the "bad boy" has the woman wrapped around his finger. The saying goes, "why do good guys finish last" isn't just a saying it's an ideology.
