UK: Large anti-racism protests follow days of far-right rioting | DW News

Thousands of people have taken part in anti-racism protests across the UK. This comes after days of far-right rioting fuelled by outrage over the stabbing to death of three children and subsequent disinformation that falsely named an asylum seeker as the perpetrator. The riots saw mosques and hotels housing asylum seekers attacked, leaving minority communities on edge. DW's Rosie Birchard sent this report from Liverpool.

This has nothing to do with religion or race. It is purely down to the terrible leadership of the UK and not facing the problem of uncontrolled migration.. the interview asks what are the government doing? The answer is nothing they’re not addressing the actual problem.

Leave aside the racists. The society is still very good and loving.

The legal immigrants should feel an extended sense of responsibility. People should avoid fights and extremism and instead focus on integration and altogether positively contribute to the society and economy.

It is not riot and it is protest. UK people have rights to express themselves. They are not far-right. They are just normal british people.

Racism isn't the issue, illegal immigration and two tier policing is, that has nothing to do with race or religion. The handful of ignorant demonstrating here is miniscule to the numbers against allowing illegal immigration and two tier policing to continue. The violence and criminal action is the result of a few thugs. It would help all round if reporters stopped telling half the story and kept on issue rather than twisting it.
